Our students are 18 to into their 70s. Most start between 35 and 60 — you're not alone.
Why adults drum
Drumming demands something that's becoming increasingly rare: letting go of what's in your head and concentrating on what you're actually doing. Not your phone, not your work. Just here, now.
It's more than relaxation. It's something creative, something in which you discover yourself, something you get better at. Something to be proud of.
Adults learn differently
Children absorb. Adults want to understand. We give more context, more explanation of why something works. And we build lessons around you — not around a system.
Your music at the centre
You have a clearer idea of what you want. Which music, what kind of drummer. We work from there. Pop, rock, jazz, funk — if it motivates, we play it.
Flexible around your life
Evening and weekend lessons. Weekly or bi-weekly — whatever suits you. If you can't make it one week, we look for a replacement slot within the same month.
What a lesson looks like
Every lesson lasts 30 or 45 minutes. No homework, no repetition. You play, the teacher adapts. That's it.
For everyone, at every age
From 18 to well into your 70s. Beginners and advanced players alike. As long as you want to learn, it's possible.
Never played before
We start from the beginning — how to sit, how to hold the sticks, how to count a rhythm. Calm, clear, step by step. The first few lessons feel unfamiliar. But then it clicks. And then it really starts to get fun.
Can already play, but stuck
Refining technique, learning new styles, more freedom in your playing. We look at where you are and where you want to go. Not what we think you need — but what you want.

What it costs
For adults over 21, VAT (21%) applies. You pay monthly by iDEAL — 36 lessons per year, spread over 12 months. School holiday weeks are included.
There is a one-month notice period.
About €36 per lesson for 45 minutes — the price of an evening out, but every week with something learned. Music should be accessible to everyone — if cost is a barrier, give us a call.
