Posture, grip and timing
Not exciting, but essential. Here you build the foundation that supports everything: correct posture, timing, and your first basic rhythms.
Playing with real music
Beatles, Billie Eilish, Arctic Monkeys. You learn to build fills, play through songs and keep the tempo. Motivation through real applications.
Varying and improvising
You know what you are doing. Now you learn to express yourself: varying, improvising, feeling yourself behind the drum kit.

Who is Stefan?
I am Stefan van de Brug. Drummer and teacher. I have been giving lessons for more than twenty years — to children, to adults, to complete beginners and to people who have been playing for years but feel stuck.
This course is not a list of exercises. It is what I have seen work in my lessons: structure that motivates, progress you can hear, and explanations you truly understand.
Drum School Stefan van de Brug has more than a hundred active students per week. If you finish the course and think: I want to experience this live — that door is open.

Not a collection of quick tricks
"Learn to drum in 2 weeks." This builds a real foundation — that takes time and consistency.
Not a course for zero beginners
You need at least a practice pad or drum kit. Without anything to practise on, you cannot make progress.
Not a replacement for private lessons
If you need intensive 1-on-1 coaching, private lessons are better. This course can be a great complement.
Not a music theory course
This is about playing, feeling and growing — not about theory and reading sheet music.
